Twenty-four hour care is provided by professional nursing personnel.  Services are tailored to meet the individual’s specific needs, which fall within state and federal guidelines for either licensed Nursing Care or Skilled Nursing Care.

Some examples of the more intensive, on demand services are as follows:  providing skilled wound care, assisting residents with bathing and grooming, helping feed residents, helping residents who are incontinent and helping transport residents to and from activities.

Services offered as follows:

  • 24-Hour nursing care (the highest ratio of direct care personnel-to-residents in KY)*
  • Registered dietician, special diets & three meals daily
  • Rehabilitation therapies—physical, occupational & speech
  • Ancillary health services—podiatrist, dentist & ophthalmologist
  • Transportation secured for medical appointments
  • Planned activities & outings
  • Episcopal Chaplain—chapel services, counseling & Bible studies
  • Weekly housekeeping (daily in Nursing Center)
  • Bed/bath linens
  • Full-time maintenance staff—building, equipment, lawn & grounds care
  • Beauty & barber services
  • Soda fountain
  • Library
  • Business center—copier, fax & computer lab
  • Parlor and private dining—host dining guests, play cards or visit
  • Evening security
  • Spacious courtyards & gardens
