If you purchased your hearing aids from Avada, congratulations! You will get the highest quality hearing healthcare offered today. We guarantee Avada will service your hearing aids at regular scheduled intervals. I can share some tips for cleaning, storing, care and battery usage between these intervals that will prove to be helpful.

Clean your hearing aids every day. Make certain to use a soft cloth (tissues are ok) or special hearing aid brush to wipe the outside. Please be sure NOT to use any alcohol or cleansers because they will harm the internal components and circuitry of your hearing aid.

Store your new hearing aid with the battery door open when it is not in use. Place it in a cool and dry place. Protect your hearing aids from high temperatures such as an automobile’s glove compartment or hair dryer heat.

Caring for your hearing aids: do not get them wet. Remove before showering, swimming, working out, (perspiring), etc. Do not use hair care products while wearing your new hearing aids. You will want to avoid dropping or slamming your hearing aids on hard surfaces.

You will want to store your batteries in a dry, safe location away from any children or pets. Always replace your drained batteries immediately and discard them carefully.

You will get the best performance and prolong the life of your hearing aids by following these simple steps. Please remember to keep all of your appointments with your Avada Hearing Care professional.

Do you know someone who has trouble understanding? Please have them contact Avada. We want to help them hear better than they have ever before.
